How to fix misconfigured Gmail / Google Workspace aliases

This issue happens when MailReach can't manage to send emails from your Gmail's aliases. It's due to the fact the alias is not properly set up on the Gmail account.

Step 1 - Make sure to add the alias email in the Google Admin. Without typos.

Sign in to your Google Admin console. Use an administrator account.
In the Admin console, go to Menu ""and then"" Directory and then Users.
To open the user settings page, click a user's name.
On the left, under the user's name, click Add Alternate Emails.
Click Alternate email, and type a name for the alias (the part of the address before the @ sign). If you have multiple domains you want to add aliases for, choose them under the Domain drop-down.
If you want to add more email aliases, repeat Step 5.
Save.

Step 2 - Make sure to add the alias as a "From" address in the mailbox. Without typos.

This is important to make the mailbox able to send emails from the alias address, not just receive emails.

Go in the Gmail inbox of the user where the alias is.
In the top right, click Settings > See all settings
Click the Accounts and import or Accounts tab.
In the "Send mail as" section, click Add another email address.
Enter the details of your alias.
6.Click Next Step and then Send verification.
Click Add Account.

These 2 steps should help fix the issue, if you still have this issue in the next 24 hours, please reach out to us using the chat
